Project Overview

Trill Mag is an independent, non-profit digital media publication engineered for the Gen-Z demographic, focusing on global news, entertainment, and modern culture. Serving as a dedicated Graphic Design Intern, the objective was to collaborate directly with the editorial department to conceptualize, design, and deploy bespoke digital illustrations and feature graphics to accompany high-traffic editorial articles. This specific deployment focuses on the visual asset generation for the investigative media feature, “Why TikTok Is Trolling Mama Owl With The ‘Brisket Song’,” written by Gabriela Torres, examining the severe public backlash and platform-wide scrutiny surrounding a prominent social media content creator.

Design Strategy & Symbolic Commentary

The core creative challenge lay in translating a sensitive digital controversy and the mechanics of online accountability into a sophisticated, high-impact editorial graphic.

Conceptual Iconography & Framing: To structurally articulate the intense public scrutiny and platform-wide response, the featured illustration focuses heavily on the theme of public exposure and accountability. The composition utilizes a stark, high-contrast structural layout to represent the rapid escalation of digital backlash from the online community, framing the media narrative through a professional editorial lens.
Palette & Color Space: The corporate color profile utilizes a dominant, saturated spectrum of deep reds and dark tones. This deliberate chromatic selection is engineered to communicate systemic urgency and reputational crisis, establishing a powerful visual anchor that demands immediate reader engagement across desktop and mobile newsfeeds.

Technical Execution & Portfolio Scaling

All digital media elements and sequential platform layout variations were developed within a streamlined publishing pipeline using the Adobe Creative Suite. To demonstrate real-world utility and campaign versatility, the primary conceptual artwork was scaled across professional digital mockups.
